Note: I weighed about 260 lbs in all of my larger before pictures.
October 2014
DON’T STOP! DON’T GIVE UP! If you do not own your behavior, you can never change. You are responsible for your own life. Your past experiences or past self cannot make you. Make the right decisions right now and impact your present/future through dedication and determination in order to become a better version of you. I’m not perfect but I strive to become the BEST version of myself daily.
It’s been a long time coming! The picture on the left was taken in October 2014. The picture on the right was taken in the beginning of my freshman year in college (8 years ago…woah time flies!). I was 260 pounds. Through my experience I can tell you…PROMISE you that it is possible to shed weight, maintain and tone. It is a myth that people who were plus size will gain their weight back. If it is truly a lifestyle change for you and and you can honestly say with your heart that you are doing this for YOU then there is no way on this planet earth that you (yes YOU) would allow yourself to slip like that. If I can do it so can you. Patience + Dedication + Hard work = RESULTS
September 2014
Freshman year 2006 vs September 2014. I share my past because I am no longer a victim of it. I’m transparent in all that I do and go through because I 100% believe that my testimony will encourage someone who is going through something I’ve experienced and conquered. Your past experiences or past self cannot make you. If you do not own your behavior, you can never change. You are responsible for your own live. OWN IT!
July 2014
Freshman year 2006 vs July 2014. Your body can’t eat right or work out if your mind won’t let it. If weight loss is a goal of yours then you have to accept the fact that it will be a lifestyle change. There is no other way.
August 2013
176 lbs
Through my experience I can tell you…PROMISE you… that it is possible to shed weight, maintain and tone long-term. It is false to say that that people who were plus size will gain their weight back after losing it. If this is truly a lifestyle change for you and you can honestly say with your heart and soul that you are doing this for YOU then there is no way on this planet earth that you–yes YOU– would allow yourself to slip like that. Patience + dedication + hard work = results
July 2013
171 lbs
February 2013
171 lbs
January 2013
174 lbs
This is my progress about five months after I began drinking a gallon of water a day. I drank a gallon of water a day in addition to my usual workout regimen and eating habits. In the past I could not get my lower abdomen to go down and I had no clue why. I tried everything! My trainer gave me the “gallon of water a day challenge” and since then I’ve seen major progress! I weigh exactly the same in both pictures–I’m just leaner!
December 2012
175 lbs
Seriously–I came a long way! Here is PROOF! With strength, diligence, patience and dedication, YOU can be all you want to be plus more! And I’m STILL pushing! God is awesome!
July 2012
170 lbs
I keep finding my old college pics and it just keeps getting more and MORE real to me! Honestly, If I was able to do this then anyone can! You’ve got this! Be patient, be persistent and most importantly, be PURPOSEFUL in your journey. It’s not for anyone else’s satisfaction; It’s for YOU and your long-term health!
